In 2010, Chaya participated in the Abu Dhabi International Symposium for Sculpture (ADISS), commissioned by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. Created in marble, the work explored rhythm, spatial flow, and cultural resonance through a dynamic interplay of curvature and mass. The sculpture reflects a dialogue between material tradition and contemporary form, embodying movement within stillness — a recurring theme in Chaya’s practice. Installed in Abu Dhabi as part of the symposium’s public art initiative, the piece contributes to the city’s evolving cultural landscape and its commitment to international artistic exchange.

L’inauguration à Abou Dabi — Un jalon culturel

L’inauguration du Symposium international de sculpture d’Abou Dabi a été organisée sous l’égide du Département de la culture et du tourisme d’Abou Dabi. La cérémonie a été présidée par Cheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, alors ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche scientifique et président de l’Université Zayed, marquant ainsi un moment charnière pour le paysage naissant de l’art public dans la capitale.
